The 4th UK Robot Manipulation Workshop
Call for Posters
The 4th UK Manipulation workshop will bring together UK researchers working on robotic grasping and manipulation research. A key part of the workshop is a poster session to provide an opportunity to discuss ongoing research activities with the community. All poster presenters will have an opportunity to introduce their work to the UK community with a brief slide presentation, and have a follow-up Q&A poster session during the coffee and lunch breaks.
Our primary aim with the posters is to enable UK researchers to highlight to the rest of the UK community what they are working on, rather than for this to be a venue for more formal, peer-reviewed publications. As such, we allow posters based on papers that have already been published or submitted elsewhere, as well as those based on preliminary experiments described in a new abstract. Therefore, please submit either (1) a full paper, if it has previously been accepted at or submitted to a major conference, or (2) a two-page abstract if it is new or ongoing research.
To participate, please submit (in PDF format) via this link, by 18th December 2022.
Selection criteria include: relevance to the workshop’s stated topic and aims, academic excellence and innovation, representation from underrepresented groups, and diversity of perspectives and topics covered. All contributions will undergo a review by the committee. We will be giving an award for the best poster, which will be presented at the final session of the workshop.
If you have questions, you are welcome to contact Dandan Zhang for informal enquiries at ye21623@bristol.ac.uk.
